When applying for a food parcel you will need photo ID, and proof of address. If you are on a benefit you will need a food support decline letter from winz.

An application form will need to be completed, you can download one here or we can provide one to you when you pop in to see us.

The Matamata Community Foodbank is a not for profit registered Charity that has been supporting those in need for many decades now.

We are run by a group of volunteers and rely on donations of food and money from the local community in order to provide parcels of food and hygiene items to those that have a genuine need.

We employ a Co-Ordinator who is assisted by a team of volunteers to work with the community. We also work closely with other support organisations in the area and region in order to support clients.
