About Us
The Matamata Community Foodbank is a not for profit registered Charity that is run by a group of volunteers. We have been supporting those in genuine need in our community with temporary food and hygiene parcels for more than 20 years. Our approach is one of kindness, support and compassion, providing a hand-up to those in need, so they can get back on their feet.
We rely on donations of food and money from the local community in order to provide support to those in need. Our day to day operations are undertaken by our coordinator who is assisted by a team of volunteers.
